Within the meaning of article L. 2321-2, a children’s home of a permanent nature is an establishment whose activity, which lasts for more than nine months a year, is characterised in particular by long-term care, which may be repeated, outside schooling periods and which requires recourse to socio-educational professionals.
A children’s home of a temporary nature is an establishment whose activity lasts for no more than nine months a year and fulfils the other conditions set out in the first paragraph.
Whether it is a permanent or temporary children’s health home is specified in the establishment’s multi-annual contract of objectives and resources.
