When all the operations of external companies present in the establishment lead to the employment of workers for a total of more than 90,000 hours over the next twelve months, inspections and periodic coordination meetings are held at least every three months. Article R4513-8 of the French Labour Code

Sanitary facilities, communal changing rooms and catering facilities are provided by the user undertaking for use by outside undertakings present in the establishment, except where the latter provide equivalent facilities. Additional facilities will be provided, if necessary, on the basis of the average number of workers from external companies expected to be employed on a regular basis in the user company’s establishment over the coming year.

When it is compulsory to draw up a written prevention plan, in application of article R. 4512-7, this plan is made available to the occupational physician of the user company and to the occupational physicians of the external companies concerned.
