Creditors who are required to declare their claim and who fail to do so are deprived of the benefit of their security for the distribution of the sale price of the immovable.
If the price is not distributed within a period set by regulation, its payment or deposit has all the effects of a payment to the debtor in respect of the share of the sale price that will be remitted to the creditors after distribution.
