This Code is applicable to Mayotte subject to the adaptations provided for in this section.

This Code is applicable to Mayotte subject to the adaptations provided for in this section.
For the application of the provisions of Books III and V, insofar as they relate to property conservation measures : 1° References to Decree No. 55-22 of 4 January 1955 reforming land registration and to Decree No. 55-1350 of 14 October 1955 implementing this Decree are to be understood as references to the provisions of Title IV of Book V of the Civil Code and to Decree No. 2008-1086 of…
For the application of this code, the reference to the Caisse des dépôts et consignations is understood to be the reference to the Treasury.
For the application of the second paragraph of article R. 533-2, the reference to the property security contribution provided for inarticle 879 of the General Tax Code is replaced by the reference to the registration fees provided for inarticle 89 of decree no. 2008-1086 of 23 October 2008 relating to the registration of property rights in Mayotte.
In the absence of adaptation, references made by the provisions of this code applicable to Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin to provisions that do not apply there are replaced by references to provisions with the same purpose that may be applicable locally.
For the application of article R. 121-7, the overseas collectivities of Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin may be represented or assisted before the judge by an official or agent of their administration.
For the application of articles R. 221-34 and R. 221-60 in Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin, the words: “at the town hall of the commune” and the words: “at the town hall” are replaced by the words: “at the territorial council of the collectivity”.
For the application of article R. 412-2 in Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin, the word: “départemental” and the words: “la loi n° 90-449 du 31 mai 1990 visant à la mise en œuvre du droit au logement” are replaced respectively by the word: “territorial” and the words: “la réglementation le cas échéant applicable localement”.
In the absence of adaptation, references made by the provisions of this code applicable in Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon to provisions that do not apply there are replaced by references to provisions with the same purpose that may be applicable locally.
For the application of this Code in Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, the terms listed below are replaced as follows: 1° “tribunal judiciaire” (judicial court) by “tribunal de première instance” (court of first instance); 2° “Cour d’appel” (court of appeal) by “tribunal supérieur d’appel” (higher court of appeal); 3° “Tribunal de commerce” (commercial court) by “tribunal de première instance statuant en matière commerciale” (court of first instance ruling on commercial matters); 4° “Premier président…
