The non-collective sanitation fee includes a share intended to cover the costs of checking the design, siting and proper execution and operation of the installations and, where applicable, a share intended to cover the costs of maintaining them.
The share representing inspection operations is calculated according to criteria defined by the authority mentioned in the first paragraph of article R. 2224-19-1 and taking into account the location, nature and size of the installations. These operations may give rise to a flat-rate charge.
The share representing maintenance services is only payable if the user uses the maintenance service. Pricing arrangements must take account of the nature of the services provided.
