Article R6152-48 of the French Public Health Code

Hospital practitioners covered by these regulations may be placed by the Director General of the Regional Health Agency, after consultation with the head of the unit and the head of the department, or, failing this, with the head of another internal structure and the chairman of the establishment’s medical committee and the director of the establishment, at their request, on temporary assignment for a maximum period of three months per two-year period.

In this position, they retain the benefit of the emoluments mentioned in 1° of article R. 6152-23, when the assignment is carried out in the interests of the health care institution.

Les praticiens hospitaliers relevant du présent statut peuvent être placés par le directeur général de l’agence régionale de santé, après avis du chef de pôle et du chef de service, ou, à défaut du responsable d’une autre structure interne et du président de la commission médicale d’établissement et du directeur de l’établissement, à leur demande, en position de mission temporaire pour une durée maximale de trois mois, par période de deux ans.

Ils conservent, dans cette position, le bénéfice des émoluments mentionnés au 1° de l’article R. 6152-23, lorsque la mission est effectuée dans l’intérêt de l’établissement de santé.
