This Book relates to the determination of collective relations between employers and employees. It defines the rules governing the exercise of employees’ right to collective bargaining on all their terms and conditions of employment, vocational training and working conditions, as well as their social guarantees.

The agreement shall contain a preamble outlining its objectives and content. The absence of a preamble does not render the agreement null and void.
The agreement is concluded for a fixed or indefinite period. In the absence of any stipulation in the agreement as to its duration, the duration is set at five years. When the agreement expires, it ceases to have effect.
