Section 2: Regional chambers of commerce and industry

Only territorial chambers of commerce and industry whose constituency corresponds to at least one département or, failing that, whose number of nationals measured by the economic survey referred to in Article R. 713-66, and which was submitted to the prefect for the last general renewal, is equal to or greater than 10,000.

The master plan may provide, in compliance with the conditions defined in Article R. 711-36, for the merger of territorial chambers of commerce and industry whose districts border each other but which belong to different regions. The merger is included in the master plans drawn up and adopted by the regional chambers concerned.

The draft master plan is adopted by the general meeting of the regional chamber of commerce and industry, by a two-thirds majority of its members in office, present or represented. They indicate the location of all the establishments, infrastructures, facilities and services managed by the chambers of commerce and industry in the region concerned. Regional chambers of commerce and industry check compliance with the intervention standards and indicators defined by CCI France when drawing up and revising sectoral plans. Sectoral plans may define additional indicators in view of the specific features of the area concerned. .
