In specific circumstances where, taking into account the risk assessment, the use of a second rope would make the work more dangerous, the use of a single rope may be authorised, provided that the worker concerned is never left alone. These specific circumstances and the appropriate measures to ensure safety are determined by order of the Minister for Labour or the Minister for Agriculture.
