Every applicant shall be provided, in a language that he or she understands or may reasonably be presumed to understand, with information on the rights and obligations arising from the application of Regulation (EU) No 604/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 June 2013, under the conditions laid down in Article 4 thereof.

When the asylum application is submitted by a foreign national who is in France accompanied by his or her minor children, it is considered to be submitted on his or her behalf and on that of his or her children.

Registration takes place no later than three working days after the asylum application is submitted to the competent administrative authority, with no prior requirement for residence. However, this time limit may be extended to ten working days when a large number of foreign nationals apply for asylum simultaneously.

When the administrative authority considers that the examination of an application for asylum falls within the jurisdiction of another State which it intends to request, the provisions of Title VII shall apply. .
