Patients admitted to a post-interventional monitoring room are cared for by one or more paramedical staff, or midwives for the procedures provided for in 1° of article D. 6124-98, assigned exclusively to this room during its period of use and whose number depends on the number of patients present. The anaesthetic strategy and all the information collected during the operation and during continuous postoperative monitoring are transcribed in a document filed in the patient’s medical record. The same applies to the instructions given to the staff who receive the patient in the hospital sector. They are also transmitted in writing.

An order of the Minister for Health determines the conditions of use and control of medical equipment and devices performing the functions and procedures referred to in articles D. 6124-94 and D. 6124-99.
