The alert provided for in the third paragraph of Article L. 6221-9 is sent to the Minister for Defence for the laboratories under his authority. This minister immediately informs the regional health agency concerned when the alert concerns a laboratory on the list provided for in article L. 6147-7.
Without prejudice to articles L. 1223-2 and L. 5313-1, the Armed Forces Blood Transfusion Centre is subject to the provisions of this chapter in respect of activities likely to give rise to medical biology examinations.
The provisions of Articles L. 6222-1 to L. 6222-5 do not apply to medical biology laboratories under the authority of the Minister of Defence. Medical biology laboratories in army hospitals providing services reimbursable by social security are registered on the list provided for in article L. 6147-7.
