For the application of this Code in the territorial collectivity of Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, account shall be taken of the adaptations provided for in this Title.

For the application of this Code in the territorial collectivity of Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, account shall be taken of the adaptations provided for in this Title.
The High Court of Appeal shall exercise the powers assigned by this Code to the Court of Appeal and the Investigating Chamber.
The powers assigned by this Code to the judicial court, the assize court, the first president of the court of appeal and the judge of the judicial court shall be exercised respectively by the court of first instance, the criminal court, the president of the superior court of appeal and by a judge of the court of first instance. The powers conferred by this Code on lawyers and parties’ counsel may be exercised by persons approved in the territorial collectivity by the President of the High Court of Appeal. Such persons are exempt from having to provide proof of a mandate.
For the purposes of this Code, the terms “investigating division” are replaced by the terms “investigating judge”. The articles 52-1,83-1 and 83-2 shall not apply.
By way of derogation from Article 193, the High Court of Appeal, as an investigating chamber, only meets when convened by its president or at the request of the public prosecutor, whenever necessary.
Articles L. 952-11 and L. 952-12 of the Code of Judicial Organisation relating to the replacement of the president of the High Court of Appeal and of the assessors and to the specific procedures for exercising judicial functions are applicable to the Investigating Chamber and to its president.
The time limits set out in Article 130, in the last paragraph of article 135-2 and the first paragraph of article 627-6 are extended to fifteen days when the transfer is made from the local authority.
The articles 233,245,261and 261-1 of this code shall not apply.
For the application of article 236, the President of the High Court of Appeal shall, if necessary, convene the Criminal Court by order made after consulting the Public Prosecutor.
