Article R4131-10 of the French Public Health Code

Subject to compliance with the rules of the Code of Medical Ethics, cooperative non-trading companies may be formed either between specialist doctors or between general practitioners, duly registered with the Medical Register, governed by articles 1832 et seq. of the Civil Code, law no. 47-1775 of 10 September 1947 on the status of cooperatives and the present section.

Where it is stipulated in the Articles of Association that the share capital is variable, these companies are also subject to the provisions of articles L. 231-1 to L. 231-8 of the French Commercial Code.

Sous réserve d’observer les règles du code de déontologie médicale, il peut être constitué soit entre médecins spécialistes, soit entre médecins généralistes, régulièrement inscrits au tableau de l’ordre des médecins, des sociétés civiles coopératives, régies par les articles 1832 et suivants du code civil, la loi n° 47-1775 du 10 septembre 1947 portant statut de la coopération et la présente section.

Lorsqu’il est stipulé dans les statuts que le capital social est variable, ces sociétés sont en outre soumises aux dispositions des articles L. 231-1 à L. 231-8 du code de commerce.
