Article R4741-1-1 of the French Labour Code

Failure to complete or update the exposure monitoring sheet for a worker referred to in 2° of V of Article L. 4161-1, in accordance with the conditions laid down in Article D. 4161-1-1, is punishable by a fifth-class fine. The fine is applied as many times as there are workers concerned by the offence. Repeated offences are punishable in accordance with articles 132-11 and 132-15 of the French Penal Code.

An employer who is aware of an accident at work resulting in the death of a worker and who fails to inform the Labour Inspectorate, in accordance with the procedures set out in article R. 4121-5, is liable to a fifth-class fine. Failure to comply with the provisions of articles L. 4711-1 to L. 4711-5 and articles D. 4711-1 to D. 4711-3 relating to compulsory documents and displays is punishable by the fine laid down for fourth-class offences. The fine is applied as many times as there are persons employed under conditions liable to be penalised under this article.
