The Local Finance Committee may decide to allocate a second share of the fund to municipalities to finance investments or cover operating expenses for projects of municipal interest.

The Local Finance Committee may decide to allocate a second share of the fund to municipalities to finance investments or cover operating expenses for projects of municipal interest.
The Local Finance Committee may also decide to allocate a third part of the fund to groups of municipalities to finance investments or cover operating expenses for projects of inter-municipal interest.
The Local Finance Committee may decide to allocate a fourth part of the fund to the running of the committee secretariat, for both operating and investment purposes. This share may not exceed 0.5 per thousand of the fund’s annual resources, with the exception of unused appropriations carried over from previous years. Transport and travel expenses incurred by members elected as representatives of communes and syndicates of communes on the French Polynesia Local Finance Committee for meetings of this committee or meetings of any kind to which they are jointly convened by the two co-chairmen are paid by the Intercommunal Equalisation Fund.
