Selective financial aid is awarded to production companies for the production of works that contribute to the objectives mentioned in Article 422-2.
Production companies meet the conditions for eligibility for financial aid, as applicable: 1° To the production of feature-length cinematographic works, provided for by article 211-3; 2° To the production of audiovisual works, as provided for in articles 311-3 and 311-4 ; 3° To the production of immersive works, as provided for in Article 321-17 ; 4° To the production of video games, as provided for by articles 322-19 and 322-20…
The following works are eligible for production support:1° Long-length cinematographic works or short-length cinematographic works;2° Audiovisual works in the genres of fiction, animation, creative documentary or audiovisual adaptation of live performances;3° Immersive works;4° Video games.
Production aid may not have the effect of bringing the total amount of public financial aid: 1° For feature-length cinematographic works, audiovisual works and video games, to more than 50% of the final production cost of the work; 2° For feature-length cinematographic works and difficult or low-budget audiovisual works within the meaning, respectively, of Articles 211-21 and 311-19, to more than 60% of the final production cost of the work;…
Selective financial aid is awarded to distribution companies for the distribution in cinemas of works that contribute to the objectives mentioned in article 422-2.
Distribution companies meet the conditions for eligibility for financial aid set out in article 221-4.
Eligible for theatrical distribution support are long-form and short-form cinematographic works.
Aid for theatrical distribution may not have the effect of increasing the total amount of public financial aid to more than 50% of the distribution company’s financial investment, or to more than 70% of this investment for difficult or low-budget works within the meaning of Article 221-6.
Selective financial aid is granted to publishers of videograms intended for the private use of the public for the videographic edition of works that contribute to the objectives mentioned in article 422-2.
Videogram publishers meet the conditions for eligibility for financial aid set out in article 611-4.
