Title IV: New Caledonia and French Polynesia

For the application of this code in New Caledonia and French Polynesia, the words “tribunal de grande instance” are replaced by the words “tribunal de première instance”.

In New Caledonia and French Polynesia, financial penalties incurred by virtue of this Code are pronounced in local currency, taking into account the equivalent value of the euro in that currency.

The National Public Health Agency may exercise all or part of its powers in New Caledonia or French Polynesia, subject to the conclusion of an agreement to this effect with the local authority concerned and in compliance with its financial equilibrium.
