The appropriations required for the operation of the Board are entered in the budget of the Ministry of Health.
The duties of the Chairman and members of the Board are free of charge. Their travel expenses and those of experts called in for consultation shall be reimbursed in accordance with the conditions laid down by the texts in force.

The application for renewal of authorisation is sent by the head of the managing body to the Director General of the Regional Health Agency no later than six months before the current authorisation expires. Failure by the Director General of the Regional Health Agency to respond within six months of receipt of the applications for authorisation and renewal referred to in Articles D. 3121-23 and D. 3121-23-1 shall be deemed to constitute acceptance of these applications.
The Regional Health Agency is responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, monitoring and analysis of the activities of accredited centres. The agency may entrust the operational implementation of the tasks of coordinating, monitoring and analysing activities to an accredited centre mentioned in article D. 3121-21, to a coordination committee for the fight against human immunodeficiency virus infection, or to another competent body.
