The results of the ballot are recorded in two minutes drawn up on forms provided by the local authority. They are signed by the members of the bureau. The delegates of the authorised elected representatives, political parties or groupings are invited to countersign the copies of the minutes. The result shall be publicly announced by the president of the first polling station and immediately posted by the president of the territorial council.A copy of the minutes, to which the minutes of the voting operations in the polling stations are attached with their annexes, shall be sent to the representative of the State in the collectivity.

It is punishable by a fifth-class fine for any public authority or local authority agent to have distributed ballot papers or documents from elected representatives, political parties or political groupings entitled to take part in the campaign.

It is punishable by a fine of 750 euros per contravention for a printer to print a poster with a propaganda purpose or character that includes a combination of three colours: blue, white and red.

Any person who enters a polling station with a visible weapon shall be liable to a fine for a fourth-class offence. This offence shall be punishable by a fine for a fourth-class offence.
