The training course takes place under the conditions set out in article A. 212-134.
The final examination comprises three tests. A general test (duration: specified in the specific decrees; coefficient 4) comprising: a) A written examination covering the technical aspects of the sport concerned (marked out of 20; coefficient 2); b) An oral examination relating to the economic or social environment of the sport concerned (marked out of 20; coefficient 2). Candidates who have obtained an average of 10 out of 20 or more in the tests defined in article A. 212-147 are proposed for final admission to the three-degree state diploma in sports education (brevet d’Etat d’éducateur sportif à trois degrés). Candidates who have begun a course of continuous assessment and who have been authorised by the chairman of the jury referred to in article A. 212-113 to follow a modular course benefit from the reductions provided for in article A. 212-138.
