Title III: INITIATION OF THE PROCUREMENT PROCEDURE

The purchaser may make known his intention to award a contract by publishing, in the case of the contracting authority, a prior information notice, or, in the case of the contracting entity, a periodic indicative notice.These notices shall be drawn up in accordance with the models set out in the European Commission Regulation establishing standard forms for the publication of notices in the framework of the award of contracts.

The notices mentioned in article R. 2131-1 may be: 1° Either sent for publication to the Publications Office of the European Union; 2° Or published by the purchaser on its buyer profile mentioned in article R. 2132-3. When a contracting entity publishes a periodic indicative notice, it shall communicate to candidates who so request the technical specifications that it usually includes or intends to include in contracts having the same subject as that mentioned in the notice.
