Chapter II: Conditions for admission to the profession and to other judicial and legal professions

The clerk of a commercial court at least one of whose offices is abolished as a result of a new delimitation of judicial districts and who has performed his duties for at least three years may, on application made within two years of the abolition of his office, take up the professions of court-appointed administrator, lawyer, auctioneer, bailiff, court-appointed agent and notary, under the conditions laid down in this section.

The registrar referred to in Article R. 742-33 is exempt from the diploma and aptitude test for access to the professions referred to in that article.

The Keeper of the Seals, Minister of Justice may, on a proposal from the commission provided for in Article R. 742-36, grant the clerk referred to in Article R. 742-33 a partial exemption from the training period provided for in articles L. 811-5 and L. 812-3, to the article 2 du décret du 19 juin 1973 relatif à la formation professionnelle des commissaires priseurs et aux conditions d’accès à cette…
