The Regional Health Agency shall ensure the quality and coordination of support and assistance for the families and carers of persons undergoing psychiatric care, provided by the health establishments referred to in Article L. 3221-1 and by the associations working in the field of health and patient care approved in accordance with Article L. 1114-1.

The establishment may enter into an agreement with a care, prevention, readaptation and rehabilitation association for the implementation of a therapeutic approach defined by the association. In particular, the agreement specifies the terms and conditions for the provision of equipment and material and financial resources by the establishment and the conditions for their use by the association. The movable and immovable property allocated to the public mental health services and required to carry out their activities is made available to the establishments mentioned in article L. 3221-4 designated by the Director General of the Regional Health Agency.
