During the tests provided for in articles L. 232-12 to L. 232-16, it is forbidden: 1° To evade taking a sample; 2° To refuse, without valid justification, to take a sample after being notified of the test; 3° Intentionally or negligently failing, without valid justification after being notified of the test, to take a sample.

Any combination of three breaches of the whereabouts obligations set out in article L. 232-15 during a continuous period of twelve months is subject to the administrative sanctions set out in articles L. 232-21-1 to L. 232-23-3-12. The international sports bodies responsible for initiating or carrying out anti-doping controls at international sports events, as well as the organisers of national or international sports events and their agents who, in the course of their duties, become aware of any of the offences referred to in articles L. 232-25 and L. 232-26, shall report them to the competent judicial authority.

All athletes, athlete support personnel, sports federations and any body, member or agent of a sports federation shall cooperate with anti-doping organisations that are signatories to the World Anti-Doping Code investigating anti-doping rule violations and shall report to the French Anti-Doping Agency any breach of the provisions of this chapter of which they become aware.
