To carry out voluntary terminations of pregnancy, private establishments must have beds or places authorised for gynaecology-obstetrics or surgery.
Public or private establishments that carry out voluntary terminations of pregnancy have the capacity to deal with any complications, even delayed ones, arising in women who have had a voluntary termination of pregnancy, without delay, in their medical, gynaecology-obstetrics or surgical facilities.
Public establishments which perform voluntary interruptions of pregnancy include an approved family planning or education centre or enter into an agreement so that this centre carries out, in the establishment, the activities defined by articles R. 2311-7 to R. 2311-18.
