For the application of articles R. 6331-52 and R. 6332-72 to Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy, the words: “the body mentioned in article L. 225-1-1” are replaced respectively by the words: “the body mentioned in the second paragraph of article L. 752-1 of the Social Security Code” and “the body mentioned in the third paragraph of article L. 752-1 of the Social Security Code”.
In Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, pursuant to article L. 6523-1-4, a cross-industry skills operator approved under article L. 6332-1-1 may be authorised by joint order of the ministers responsible for vocational training and the overseas departments and territories to manage contributions dedicated to the development of vocational training and work-linked training in this territory, for a period of five years.
The provisions of articles R. 6523-2-10 to R. 6523-2-14 are applicable, under article L. 6523-1-4, to this sub-section.
In order to carry out its tasks, the skills operator receives the resources collected for the development of vocational training and work-linked training by the social welfare fund mentioned inarticle 3 of order no. 77-1102 of 26 September 1977, as amended, extending and adapting various provisions relating to social affairs to the department of Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon.

Volunteers with at least two years’ experience as apprenticeship masters or tutors, or five years’ professional experience, may be approved to carry out the mentoring activity provided for in article L. 6523-3.
Approval for persons authorised to act as sponsors is issued by the Prefect for a period of three years.
The same person may not sponsor more than three apprentices or young people on professionalisation contracts at the same time.
The role of the mentor is to assist and inform the apprentice or young person benefiting from the professionalisation contract. This role complements the duties of the apprenticeship master or tutor appointed under the aforementioned contract.
