The affixing on machinery or personal protective equipment, on its packaging or on any document concerning it, of any marking, sign or inscription which is likely to mislead as to the meaning or form, or both, of the CE marking is prohibited. Other markings may be affixed to machinery and personal protective equipment provided that the visibility, legibility and meaning of the CE marking are not thereby impaired.
