The accommodation referred to in this section is not medicalised. No care may be provided in this accommodation, subject to articles L. 6316-1 to L. 6316-2 and emergency care provided in accordance with the provisions of article R. 6123-1.

Persons accommodated under this section may share their room with one or more accompanying persons, subject to the accommodation facility’s capacity.

The accommodation service referred to in this section may be provided by the establishment referred to in article R. 6111-55 or may be delegated to a third party under an agreement. The third party delegatee, who is chosen by this establishment, may be another healthcare establishment or any other public or private legal entity. The provisions of article R. 6111-53 apply to the arrangements for informing and obtaining the consent of pregnant women who are offered the accommodation referred to in this section.
