Aptitude test
I. – Technical test
The technical test, a performance test which validates technical aptitude, is designed to check the candidate’s ability to ride safely at a sustained speed over a certain distance, controlling the trajectories.
The technical test is carried out in accordance with the provisions of II “Organisation and assessment” of appendix V “The technical test” of the modified order of 11 April 2012 relating to the specific training for the national alpine ski instructor diploma.
II. – Safety test
The aim of the safety test is to assess candidates’ compliance with the minimum essential safety requirements for ski instructors working in specific environments.
The safety test is carried out in accordance with the provisions of 2 “Assessment procedures for the safety test” of appendix VII-3 “The training unit for improving safety on slopes, off slopes and in snowy mountain environments, including the safety test” of the modified order of 11 April 2012 relating to the specific training for the national diploma for ski instructors in alpine skiing.
