Tanks and storage tanks fitted to the indoor networks referred to in 3° of article R. 1321-43 must be maintained and checked as often as necessary and at least once a year.

The protection and treatment devices mentioned in articles R. 1321-53 and R. 1321-57 fitted to collective distribution systems must be checked and maintained. An order issued by the ministers responsible for health and construction, after consulting the Agence nationale de sécurité sanitaire de l’alimentation, de l’environnement et du travail, defines the frequency and procedures for checking and maintaining protective devices.
