Title II: Continuing professional development for healthcare professionals

The president of the Agence nationale du développement professionnel continu is the president of the general meeting of the founding members of the public interest grouping referred to in article R. 4021-6, appointed under the conditions laid down in the grouping’s constituent agreement. He chairs the Management Board provided for in article R. 4021-14. He appoints the Chairman and members of the Ethics Committee provided for in article R. 4021-12.

The Director General of the National Agency for Continuing Professional Development is appointed for a renewable term of three years by order of the ministers responsible for health and social security. The Director General manages the Agency’s affairs, with the exception of those reserved for other bodies. In addition to the general meeting of the founding members of the public interest grouping, the chairman and the chief executive, the bodies of the Agence nationale du développement professionnel continu are : 1° The High Council for Continuing Professional Development of the Health Professions; 2° The Ethics Committee ; 3° Independent scientific commissions; 4° The Management Board; 5° Professional sections.
