Chapter VI: Disciplinary proceedings

The Conseil national de l’ordre informs all the departmental councils and the director of the Union nationale des caisses d’assurance maladie, by any means, of the decisions handed down by the disciplinary chambers of first instance, which have become final and enforceable, imposing a ban on practising or removal from the roll.

The notifications provided for in articles R. 4126-36 and R. 4126-38 are also required for orders issued pursuant to article R. 4126-5 and setting a period of execution for a penalty of disqualification from practising or for the penalty of striking off the roll.

The decisions of the Disciplinary Chamber of first instance and the orders of its president become final on the day following the expiry of the time limit for appeal if no appeal is lodged. The decisions of the national disciplinary chamber and the orders of its president are notified to the persons and authorities who were notified of the decision at first instance and to the disciplinary chamber of first instance that took the decision referred to. The decision of the National Disciplinary Chamber or the order of the President of this Chamber made pursuant to article R. 4126-5 becomes final on the day on which the practitioner receives notification thereof.
