Live performance promoters who are nationals of a European country may establish themselves in order to carry out their activities in France without having to declare their activity, provided that they produce a certificate of equivalent effect issued in one of these countries under comparable conditions.

Live performance promoters other than those mentioned in articles L. 7122-3 and L. 7122-5 may engage in this activity on a temporary and occasional basis under conditions laid down by decree in the Conseil d’Etat, subject to: 1° If they are legally established in another Member State of the European Union or party to the agreement on the European Economic Area, having informed the competent administrative authority of this activity…

The competent administrative authority may object to the continuation of the activity and terminate the validity of the declaration in the event of failure to comply with the employer’s obligations under this Code, the social security system or the provisions relating to the protection of literary and artistic property, as well as the obligations relating to the safety of entertainment venues.

The administrations and bodies concerned shall provide the administrative authority competent to issue the declaration receipt with all information relating to the situation of the entertainment promoters with regard to the obligations mentioned in article L. 7122-7.
