Title II: Entertainment, audiovisual, advertising and fashion professions

Hiring or employing a child aged sixteen and under who is subject to compulsory schooling in a company referred to in article L. 7124-1, without prior individual authorisation, in breach of the provisions of the same article, is punishable by five years’ imprisonment and a fine of 75,000 euros.

Employing a minor over the age of thirteen, with a view to carrying out the activities defined in article L. 7124-1, without first obtaining his or her written approval, in disregard of the provisions of article L. 7124-2, is punishable by five years’ imprisonment and a fine of 75,000 euros.

Failure to comply with the provisions of articles L. 7124-6 to L. 7124-8 relating to working hours and rest periods is punishable by five years’ imprisonment and a fine of 75,000 euros.

Directly or indirectly providing the children mentioned in 1° to 4° of article L. 7124-1 and article L. 7124-2 or their legal representatives with funds in excess of the share set pursuant to the first paragraph of article L. 7124-9 is punishable by a fine of 3,750 euros. Publishing comments, information or intelligence about minors engaged or produced under the conditions set out in articles L. 7124-1 and L. 7124-4 by any means, other than that concerning their artistic creation, in breach of the provisions of article L. 7124-13, is punishable by a fine of 6,000 euros.
