When the transmission of a biological sample between two medical biology laboratories, as defined in Article L. 6211-19, is carried out under a cooperation contract mentioned in Article L. 6212-6, retransmission of this biological sample to another medical biology laboratory to complete the performance of this examination is authorised within the limits of the transmission possibilities arising from the second paragraph of Article L. 6211-19.

The conditions for carrying out certain medical biology tests likely to present a particular risk to public health are specified by order of the Minister for Health, issued after consultation with the committee referred to in article L. 6213-12 and the Director General of the Agence nationale de sécurité du médicament et des produits de santé.
