Chapter V: Methods and resources of the regional health agencies

When appointing inspectors and controllers to carry out the control missions provided for in article L. 1421-1 of this Code and article L. 313-13 of the Code de l’action sociale et des familles, the Director General of the Regional Health Agency shall specify the nature of the missions likely to be entrusted to them.

The inspector carries out his duties under the authority of a public health inspector, a public health pharmacist inspector, a public health medical inspector, a health and social action inspector, a health engineer or a health studies engineer.

An employee of the regional health agency may only be appointed as an inspector or controller if he or she fulfils the following conditions: 1° He or she must be a French national; 2° He or she must enjoy his or her civic rights and be in good standing with regard to the national service code; 3° He or she must not have been convicted of a criminal offence which…
