It is forbidden to admit minors under the age of sixteen who are not accompanied by their father, mother, guardian or any other person over the age of eighteen who is responsible for or supervises them. A notice setting out the provisions of this Title shall be displayed in on-trade premises. A specific model must be displayed in takeaway outlets. The models and locations for displaying these notices are determined by order of the Minister of Health.

Ignoring the prohibitions set out in article L. 3322-5 is punishable by six months’ imprisonment and a fine of €3,750. The court will also order the confiscation of the goods and means of transport and the permanent closure of the establishment. Offences are prosecuted and recorded in the same way as for indirect taxation.
