BOOK VIII: Some regulated professions.

The selection board will draw up a list of candidates declared admitted. This list is published in the Journal officiel de la République française. The results are notified individually to each candidate.

The examination to qualify for the profession of judicial representative is organised at least once a year. The dates and places of the tests are set by the Minister of Justice and published, four months before the date of the first test, in the Journal officiel de la République française.

I. – Applications shall be sent to the secretary of the Commission nationale d’inscription et de discipline des administrateurs judiciaires et des mandataires judiciaires, by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, no later than three months before the date of the first test of the session. Two months before the date of the first test of the session, the committee will draw up the list of candidates admitted to sit the tests of the professional aptitude examination. Individual invitations mentioning the day, time and place of the tests are sent to each candidate at least fifteen days in advance.

The examination comprises oral and written tests. The subjects of the tests are decided and composed by the jury.

The oral tests comprise: 1° A thirty-minute test comprising a ten-minute presentation on a subject of economic and financial culture followed by a discussion with the jury. Candidates have one hour to prepare for this test. The purpose of the written test, which lasts five hours, is to deal with a case file relating to one of the tasks likely to be entrusted to a judicial representative. The mark carries a coefficient of 6.

Each test is marked from 0 to 20. Each mark is weighted by the coefficient laid down for the corresponding test. Approval is awarded by the selection board on the basis of the average marks obtained by the candidate in all the tests he or she has taken, if this is equal to or higher than 10 out of 20.
