PART SIX: OVERSEAS COLLECTIVITIES GOVERNED BY ARTICLE 74 OF THE CONSTITUTION

I. – Part Two of the General Code of Territorial Authorities shall apply to Saint-Martin under the conditions set out in this article. II. – Book II is applicable to Saint-Martin under the following conditions: 1° Article R. 2214-1 is not applicable to Saint-Martin; 2° Articles R. 2221-1 to R. 2221-99 are not applicable to Saint-Martin; 3° Articles R. 2231-1 to R. 2242-6 shall not apply to Saint-Martin. I. – Part Three of the General Code of Territorial Authorities shall apply to Saint-Martin under the conditions set out in this article. II. – Book I shall apply to Saint-Martin under the following conditions: 1° Articles R. 3111-1 to R. 3123-8 shall not apply to Saint-Martin; 2° Articles D. 3142-1 to D. 3142-5 shall not apply to Saint-Martin.

I. – Part Four of the Code Général des Collectivités Territoriales shall apply to Saint-Martin under the conditions set out in this Article. II. – Book II shall apply to Saint-Martin under the following conditions: 1° Titles I and III shall not apply to Saint-Martin; 2° For the application of Article R. 4241-1, the economic, social and cultural council is assimilated to the regional economic, social and environmental council. I. – Books IV, VI and VII of Part Five of the General Code of Territorial Authorities are applicable to Saint-Martin.
