The Monitoring Committee comprises between eleven and eighteen members. Membership of the Monitoring Committee is incompatible with membership of the Scientific Advisory Board and the Ethics and Conflict of Interest Committee.

The Monitoring Committee shall meet at the request of the Director General of the Agency. It shall draw up its rules of procedure and submit them to the Director General of the Agency for approval.
