In accordance with article R. 721-5, the court originally seised shall continue to have jurisdiction to rule on proceedings instituted prior to the date of the change of jurisdiction as well as on all proceedings arising from a safeguard, legal redress, legal liquidation, legal settlement, liquidation of assets, as well as personal bankruptcy or other sanctions.

The registrar of the court previously having jurisdiction retains the minutes, registers, deeds, documents and papers filed prior to the change in jurisdiction, subject to the provisions of articles R. 743-162 to R. 743-168. He alone is authorised to issue a copy or extract thereof, mentioning however the date of the change in jurisdiction and the court that now has jurisdiction.

Until the expiry of the legal time limit for communication to third parties, when the registrar of the court now having jurisdiction issues copies or extracts of minutes, registers, deeds, documents and papers concerning natural or legal persons whose domicile or registered office is situated in cantons, communes or sections of communes previously included in the jurisdiction of another court, he shall mention on these copies or extracts the court…

Where a commercial establishment, belonging to a natural or legal person, is located in a canton, commune or section of commune transferred to another jurisdiction, the registrar of the court previously having jurisdiction shall send the registrar of the court now having jurisdiction the complete registration file relating to that establishment, provided that the registration has not been struck off before the date of the change of jurisdiction.

If the file concerns a registration on a principal basis, the clerk of the court now having jurisdiction shall amend the entry provided for in 2° of article R. 123-237. Until the file is transferred to the clerk of the court now having jurisdiction, any amending entries that should be made to the registration are received by the clerk of the court previously having jurisdiction, who must also issue any copies or extracts of the registration in the commercial register.
