Title III: Cooperation

The constitutive agreement includes at least: 1° The objectives pursued by the territorial psychiatric community in terms of psychiatric and mental health services and pathways in accordance with the territorial mental health project and the regional health project; 2° The operational procedures for implementing these objectives between its members and associates and the procedures for coordination with the primary care teams, the territorial professional health communities and the other players…

The community draws up its own rules of procedure, which set out its operating procedures.

Subject to the agreement of its members, the representative of the territorial psychiatric community may be appointed as a member of the college of professionals and health service providers of the territorial health council referred to in article L. 1434-10, in accordance with the procedures laid down by an order of the Minister for Health.

The regional psychiatric community submits an annual activity and orientation report to the Director General of the Regional Health Agency. The regional psychiatric community may represent its members in dealings with the regional health agency on matters concerning the scope of its mission.

When one of the members of the territorial psychiatric community is part of or associated with a territorial hospital grouping, the territorial psychiatric community is involved by the grouping in drawing up, implementing and evaluating the psychiatry and mental health section of the shared medical project.
