For the implementation of the provisions of article R. 2324-41, the operator of a kindergarten must comply with the following minimum requirements: 1° Small kindergartens: no obligation; 2° Kindergartens: 0.5 full-time equivalents of educators of young children; 3° Large kindergartens: 1 full-time equivalent young children’s educator plus 0.5 full-time equivalent for every twenty additional places.

In kindergartens, in application of article R. 2324-43, the number of staff placed with the children is calculated in such a way as to ensure compliance with the following requirements: 1° For children under three years of age: the presence of one professional for six children on average; 2° For children aged three and over: an average of one professional for every fifteen children.
