The period of absence of the disabled person for maternity leave, paternity leave and childcare leave, adoption leave, parental presence leave, family support leave or parental education leave, or for an occupational illness or accident, is taken into account in full when calculating the amount of entitlement in the account.
The work assistance establishment or service pays the skills operator to which it belongs a contribution equal to no more than 0.35% of a flat-rate part of the guaranteed remuneration paid to the disabled workers concerned, the amount and rate of the contribution being defined by decree.
When the cost of this training exceeds the amount recorded in the account or the ceiling mentioned in article L. 6323-34, the account may be topped up at the request of its holder or his legal representative. When the training financed under the personal training account is taken during the time when the disabled worker is carrying out a work-related activity in the establishment or work-based support service, the disabled worker must request the prior agreement of the said establishment or service on the content and timetable of the training.
If accepted by the work assistance establishment or service, the disabled worker will continue to receive his guaranteed remuneration for the duration of the training and will continue to be covered by the social security system relating to protection against accidents at work and occupational illnesses.
The educational costs and costs associated with the validation of skills and knowledge relating to the training of holders who use their personal training account are paid for by the body mentioned in article L. 6333-1.
