Title II: Compensation for unemployed workers

The specific unemployment compensation allowances referred to in article L. 5424-21 take the form of: 1° A professionalisation and solidarity allowance; 2° An end-of-rights allowance.

I. – The professionalisation and solidarity allowance is allocated in accordance with the rules defined by the annexes to the general regulations appended to the agreement relating to unemployment compensation and applicable to performing artists and to workers and technicians in sound recording, film and audiovisual production, radio, broadcasting and performing arts mentioned in Article L. 5424-21, under the conditions defined in this Article and in Articles D. 5424-51-1 and…

The provisions of the annexes mentioned in I of article D. 5424-51 relating to the deferral of compensation and the waiting period do not apply to the professionalisation and solidarity allowance. At the end of the period of compensation under this allowance, any remaining excess provided for in the annexes mentioned in I of article D. 5424-51 does not give rise to any regularisation.

Payment of the vocational training and solidarity allowance ceases definitively for the same entitlement if the beneficiary can prove that he/she meets the conditions for entitlement to unemployment insurance allowance. The excesses provided for in the annexes mentioned in I of article D. 5424-51 are applicable to the end-of-rights allowance. At the end of the period of compensation under this allowance, any remaining excess provided for in the annexes mentioned in I of article D. 5424-51 does not give rise to any adjustment.

The duration of payment of the end-of-rights allowance varies according to continuous seniority of coverage under the unemployment insurance scheme specific to performing artists and technicians provided for in article L. 5424-20 or under the unemployment compensation scheme provided for in article L. 5424-21 as well as under the temporary specific fund and the transitional fund, under the conditions set out in articles D. 5424-58 to D. 5424-61.
