TITLE II: THE COLLECTIVITY OF CORSICA

The Corsican economic, social, environmental and cultural council sits at the capital of the Corsican collectivity. In agreement with the President of the Executive Council, its President may convene it at any other location in Corsica. .

The rules of procedure are adopted by the Corsican Economic, Social, Environmental and Cultural Council. In the first ballot, an absolute majority of members is required. The Corsican Economic, Social, Environmental and Cultural Council meets when convened by the President. The notice of meeting is accompanied by the agenda. At least twelve days before the meeting, the president sends the members of the council a report on each of the matters on the agenda.

The Corsican Economic, Social, Environmental and Cultural Council is convened by its President when a request for an opinion is submitted to it by the President of the Executive Council or the President of the Assembly of Corsica. Requests for opinions are notified to the President of the Corsican Economic, Social, Environmental and Cultural Council by the President of the Executive Council or by the President of the Assembly of Corsica. Board meetings are public unless otherwise decided by the bureau.

The President of the Corsican Economic, Social, Environmental and Cultural Council is responsible for policing the meetings.

The Prefect of Corsica, the President of the Executive Council and the President of the Assembly of Corsica shall be heard by the Council with their agreement or at their request. Any qualified person may be heard by the council or its committees.
