BOOK II: TERRITORIAL COLLECTIVITY OF MARTINIQUE

The Martinique Assembly exercises its powers under the conditions laid down in Title I of Book II of Part Three and Title II of Book II of Part Four, insofar as they do not conflict with the provisions of this Part. It supervises the Executive Council under the conditions laid down in Chapter V of Title II of this Book.

The Martinique Economic, Social, Environmental, Cultural and Education Council exercises its powers under the conditions set out in Title IV of Book II of Part Four and to the section 2 of Chapter III of Title III of Book IV of the same part, insofar as they are not contrary to the provisions of this part.

The territorial collectivity of Martinique intervenes in economic, social, cultural, environmental and regional planning matters and grants aid under the conditions set out in Title III of Book II of Part Three, Title V of Book II of Part Four and Sections 3 and 4 of Chapter III of Title III of Book IV of the same Part, insofar as they are not contrary to the provisions of this Part.

The management of the public services of the territorial collectivity of Martinique is subject to the provisions of Title IV of Book II of Part Three and Title VI of Book II of Part Four, insofar as they are not contrary to the provisions of this Part.
