Book III: Medical auxiliaries, nursing auxiliaries, childcare auxiliaries, ambulance drivers, dental assistants and medical regulation assistants

Prosthetists and orthotists make, on medical prescription, the equipment necessary for disabled people. Before entering the profession, persons who have obtained the evidence of formal qualifications or authorisation required to practise one of the professions referred to in article L. 4364-1 must register with the service or body designated for this purpose by the Minister for Health. The registration of these persons is carried out after verification of the supporting documents attesting to their identity and their evidence of formal qualifications or authorisation….

The organisations issuing the training qualifications shall transmit these qualifications to the service or organisation mentioned in article L. 4364-2 in the form of certified information. A decree of the Conseil d’Etat shall set out the procedures for implementing the obligation to transmit this information.

Where it is available, the certified information referred to in article L. 4364-3 serves as supporting documents for the fulfilment of the obligations set out in article L. 4364-2.
