Title II: CATEGORIES OF RESIDENCE PERMITS

The provisions of this section apply to the temporary residence permit bearing the wording “student” and the temporary or multi-annual residence permit bearing the wording “student-mobility programme” .

The educational establishment hosting the foreign student must operate under conditions that comply with the legislative and regulatory provisions in force. Its ability to receive the foreign student under such conditions may be verified by the administration responsible for supervising the establishment.

The Prefect’s decision on the application for the issue of a temporary residence permit bearing the wording “student” provided for in articles L. 422-1 or L. 422-2, or a temporary or multi-annual residence permit bearing the wording “student-mobility programme” provided for in articles L. 422-5 or L. 422-6 is notified to the foreign national in writing as soon as possible and at the latest within ninety days of the date…

In the event of the withdrawal of a residence permit issued on the basis of Articles L. 422-5 or L. 422-6, held by a student in the course of mobility in another Member State, the Minister responsible for immigration shall immediately inform this other Member State and the notifier in writing. .
